Sr Cybersecurity Analyst
Role Overview
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst with a strong risk-focused mindset to support cybersecurity assessments and protect organizational systems and information assets. This role involves hands-on work with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, threat identification, and mitigation activities aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct risk-based cybersecurity assessments aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Evaluate security controls and ensure effective implementation of cybersecurity tools and technologies.
Support the development and maintenance of a risk-based cybersecurity program.
Identify cybersecurity threats and participate in mitigation and remediation activities.
Assist in defining and improving cybersecurity strategies, policies, and standards.
Apply technical expertise to protect company systems, applications, and data from cyber threats.
Required Skills
Strong experience in risk-based cybersecurity assessments.
Hands-on working knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Proven ability in cybersecurity threat identification and mitigation.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity controls, tools, and best practices.
Ability to assess security risks and recommend practical remediation strategies.
Strong cybersecurity fundamentals with a risk and compliance mindset.
Education Requirements (Preference Order)
Master’s degree in Cybersecurity (Preferred)
Master’s degree in Software / Computer Science
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity
