KIP Information Technologies, Inc has an opening for the position of Sr. Programmer Analyst (Ref# SPA319SK) to work in Arlington Heights, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.  Travel and/or relocation required.  Job Duties:  Create, develop, code, modify, test, and document computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems using OpenText solutions.  Responsible for the development, solution design, implementation, and testing phases of the software delivery lifecycle for database driven web application and content management projects.  Coordinate with enterprise information governance team, architects, business users and other technical stakeholder on the scope and requirements of the project.  Work with various stakeholders in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including review of requirements, development, testing, and deploying solutions to production.  Perform the analysis, feasibility studies, and developing proof of concept solutions.  Design solutions based on the customer requirements and deliver various artifacts required for the project including solution design document, implementation plan, and configuration document.  Develop solutions with OpenText Magellan for data load projects.  Create requirements document, solution design document, and complete data load activities.  Develop solutions for OpenText Content Server based on user requirements using workflows, forms, and reports.  Involved in executing disaster recovery for Content Server and Archive Server.  Move data and objects between systems to load data into systems using controlled files.  Identify and resolve Content Server bugs and performance issues.  Conduct implementation planning for various environments including testing and production.  Plan and develop test plans for features and projects to ensure all requirements and use cases are covered.  Work with functional analysts to resolve defects, complete customization based on business requirements, and verify the deliverables. Analyze post-production issues, if any, and identify the root causes to fix them.  Use of OpenText stack (Content Server, Enterprise Connect, WebReports, LiveReports, Workflows, Magellan Integration Center, etc.), OScript, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and Windows.

Requirements:  This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.  Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Engineer or related experience.  Will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience.  Position requires 1 year of experience with OpenText Content Server, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.  Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein.  40hrs/week.
